As you might have seen from my Instagram postings and stories, this year end we had the chance to visit the family in New York. With all those goody stuff found in the supermarkets it was very difficult not to cook something tasty ☺.
The neighbourhood of where my father in law lived, was mainly Latin community so all the supermarkets nearby had a lot of Mexican food. I felt like Alice in wonderland hihihi.
So one of the days I went for grocery shopping, I saw these nacho cheese flavoured hard shell tacos. I had some leftover Turkey from Christmas dinner so I thought I could make us some tacos. I used taco mix spices from Old El Paso but if you want, you can make your own taco mix spices
As toppings I used store-bought salsa verde or for homemade use this recipe, sour crème and pico de gallo.
